City to Honour Glen Sather
Edmontonians are invited to join Mayor Iveson in a celebration of Glen Sather, who is in Edmonton for his banner-raising ceremony to mark his long and accomplished career in the NHL.
Date: Thursday December 10, 2015
Time: 12:15-1pm
Location: Front lobby, Winspear Centre
The event will feature speeches from Mayor Iveson, Bob Nicholson, and Glen Sather, and there will be an announcement of a legacy piece honouring Sather’s contributions to Edmonton. Space is limited.
This event will cause a temporary parking lane closure on 99 Street.
