124 Street Christmas Cash Mob

Edmontonians are invited to support local merchants during a Christmas shopping blitz at High Street and 124 Street businesses on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
The City of Edmonton is teaming up with The Local Good and the 124 Street Business Association to promote a “cash mob” event, where hundreds of Edmontonians will converge on the shopping district to focus their purchasing power in support of businesses affected by the 102 Avenue Bridge closure. Shoppers are encouraged to participate in a passport promotion and prize draw. Edmonton Transit is supporting with a free Santa Shopping Shuttle and Park and Ride Service.
The ETS free shuttle and park and ride service from north and south side locations will make stops along 124 Street between Jasper Avenue and 112 Avenue. Riders on the Hawrelak Park loop can try out the ETS winter pilot electric bus.

- Hawrelak Park - Park and Ride
- Stadium Transit Centre - Park and Ride
- Buses run from 11am - 3:30pm (last bus leaves 124 Street at 4pm)
- Shuttle to 124 Street departs every 35 minutes
- Free coffee, hot chocolate and candy canes available while you wait
