Applications must be received at least 8 weeks prior to your estimated Event Date. Events are booked in the following priority:

Annual event with same date(weekend) and location request as previous year;
Historical/recurring events with new date/location request from previous year; and
New event requests.

Please note the following:

Depending on the size and scope of your event, civic services costs may be incurred by the event (i.e. road closures, special event policing, medical services, equipment rentals, etc.)
All events on road right-of-ways require a Special Event Roadway Permit or Parade/Procession Permit with the exception of Block Parities
Erection of tents and/or other structure may require additional permits
All events held on a right-of-way or City of Edmonton property require proof of at least $2,000,000 liability insurance in favour of the City of Edmonton
