Event Days
There’s always something new happening at the Muttart Conservatory. Special Event Days are planned throughout the year to give visitors unique, interactive experiences.
Celebrate Canada Day!
Date: Friday July 1, 2016
Time: 10am-2pm
Cost: Regular Admission
Celebrate our nation’s 149th birthday with a visit to the Muttart Conservatory. Enjoy live music, Canada Day crafts, and face painting. Treats and fun activities will be happening throughout the day–a fun event for the whole family!
Prehistoric Pyramids
Date: Sunday July 10, 2016
Time: noon-4pm
Cost: Regular Admission
Did you know that present-day plants such as ferns and cycads were around when dinosaurs roamed the Earth? Unlike the dinosaurs, these plants survived extinction and still look much the way they did long ago. Come see these plants at the opening of our feature pyramid display, Jurassic Journey.
Concerts @ the Conservatory: Summer Jazz
Date: Thursday July 14, 2016
Time: 6:30-8pm
Cost: Regular Admission
As jazz great Ella Fitzgerald sang, “Summertime, and the livin’ is easy.” Come enjoy live music from a local artist in Centre Court, while taking in the soulful sounds of summer in our third installment of Concerts at the Conservatory. At intermission, take in a guided tour led by a knowledgeable Muttart Conservatory interpreter.
