Children baking at John Walter Museum

The Museum displays the three original homes of John Walter. Students will learn not only about John Walter, but also about the growth of the river valley communities. Students will actively engage in activities and traditions that have shaped Canadian identity.

Through hands-on experiences, students will gain an understanding of historical realities and the unique relationship humans have with the land. Programs are cross-curricular in nature. If there are specific learning objectives you would like to have included in your program, we will be pleased to accommodate you.

Due to the size of the facility, we are unable to have more than 2 small classes visiting at the same time.
