Come explore the history of Edmonton’s scenic river valley! Setting out from John Walter’s three historic homes, your class will embark on a historic river walk highlighting landmarks such as the original sites of Fort Edmonton, the Rossdale Memorial and the High Level Bridge. Find remnants of the past embedded in the river bank as you learn about the history of Edmonton and how it was influenced by the North Saskatchewan River. This walking tour covers a distance of approximately 3 km and us led by a John Walter Museum Interpreter.
