Dreamnight at the Zoo - Thank You to our Sponsors
In 2008 the Edmonton Valley Zoo embarked upon a brand new initiative called Dreamnight at the Zoo. The zoo hosted this event earlier in June - this is our seventh year participating! We could not have run this event without our amazing sponsors.
Christmas in Zoo-ly and Arctic Sea Ice Day

Did you know it's winter in Australia right now?
Here at the Edmonton Valley Zoo we celebrate Christmas with our Australian animals. Join us for Australian animal crafts, airbrushed face painting, a scavenger hunt and so much more!
We will also be celebrating Arctic Sea Ice Day in partnership with Polar Bears International. Every summer, the polar bears of Hudson Bay are forced ashore when the sea ice melts in July. We invite you to join us in Arctic Shores to learn about global warming, animal adaptations, and what you can do to save the sea ice that polar bears depend on.

A full day of activities are planned, including an animal myth touch table, hands-on science experiments, a myth-busting scavenger hunt and crafts for kids.
