The earth is home to approximately 5,000 different species of mammals — including you.
From very tiny rodents to very, VERY large elephants, mammals come in all shapes and sizes. They have great eyesight, a keen sense of smell and highly developed brains. They're also warm-blooded, which helps them remain active when it’s cold, and they can live on land, in the air, or under the sea.
