Celebrate the Opening of Alfred H. Savage Centre

Location: Whitemud Park near the ravine trailhead next to the toboggan hill (Exit at 12304 Fox Drive into Whitemud Park and follow Keillor Road south under the overpass. Please note that parking on-site is limited.)
Grab your winter boots or snowshoes, hop on your toboggan and join us for this family-friendly event with lots of great activities!
- Enjoy complimentary refreshments and live music in the warmth of the new Alfred H. Savage Centre
- Make s’mores over the bonfire
- Cook your own bannock
- Get a balloon creature for the kids
- Toboggan down the slopes
- Hike or snowshoe the trail
- Learn about this new facility in the river valley
The Alfred H. Savage Centre is intended to foster access to Edmonton’s natural spaces by making Whitemud Park and the river valley trail system accessible to all.
Alfred H. Savage served as Commissioner of Public Affairs for the City of Edmonton from 1974 – 1981, and his commitment to nature and community continues to this day.
