Labour Day Access Accommodations

Edmonton is excited to host “Race Weekend”, the International Triathlon Union Event and Tour of Alberta on Labour Day Weekend, September 5, 6 and 7. During this time, road closures will affect access into and out of Victoria Golf Course and Driving Range. Patrons will have continued access during the road closures, via the following routes:

Saturday, September 5

Access is via River Valley Road westbound and Groat Road southbound.

Sunday, September 6

Access is available all day via River Valley Road westbound. Until approximately 1pm, access will also be available via Victoria Park Hill. Around 1pm, access from Victoria Park Hill will close and access from Groat Road southbound will open.

Monday, September 7

River Valley Road will be closed to general traffic from 9:30am to 6pm. Access to the golf course will be northbound Groat Road only, and access from the course will be southbound Groat Road only. Please leave extra time as automobile traffic may be temporarily stopped to allow cyclists through.
