Golf Events

At the City of Edmonton municipal golf courses, we aim to grow the game of golf and share the sport with citizens in a fun and social way.

Here is our exciting line up of golf events for 2016!

Wine and Nine Events

When: Third Friday of the month at Riverside and the third Saturday of the month at Rundle for June and July

Riverside: Friday June 17 and Friday July 15
Tee Times: 4:30pm-6:30pm
Live Music: 6:30pm–9:30pm

Rundle: Saturday June 18 CANCELLED
Tee Time: 5pm-7pm
Live Music: 6:30pm-9:30pm

Rundle: Saturday July 16
Tee Time: 5pm-7pm
Live Music: 6:30pm-9:30pm

What: Come down to Riverside or Rundle and enjoy a complimentary wine tasting, half price bottles of wine and a free $5 food and beverage voucher for Dogwood Cafe by Culina. Make it a date night, ladies night or just a fun night out with friends. Don't golf? Don't worry—come out and enjoy a glass of wine, a great meal and live music on the patio. 

Cost: Just pay the green fees for your golf and your food; the wine tasting and music is on us!

Kids Golf Free Event

When: Saturday July 9, 1pm-3pm

Where: Rundle Golf Course, 2902 118 Avenue, Edmonton

What: With balloon artists, spray tattoos, golf-related inflatable targets and even a Dunk the Pro Tank,  this event will ensure that kids have a great experience at the golf course. In partnership with the International Take a Kid to the Course campaign, the City of Edmonton will have some great sponsors, free swag and resident Junior Golf Ambassabors to help your youngster embrace the fun world of golf.

Edmonton River Valley Junior Golf Tournament

–Presented by the Edmonton Journal

When: Saturday July 23 and Sunday July 24

Where: Rundle Golf Course, 2902 118 Avenue, Edmonton

What: A friendly competition to welcome young golfers into the world of tournament golf. The goal of this event will be to introduce kids to tournament play as opposed to providing elite level competition. The majority of prizes will be draw-based so all participants will have a chance to win prizes. Open to kids 6- 18 years old.

Cost:

6 and 7 Year Olds: 9 holes only $15
8 years and up: 9 holes $15 or 18 holes* $25

*18 holes will be played over the course of 2 days: Saturday and Sunday

Entry fee includes:
Golf (9 or 18 holes)
Hot dog and pop
Tee gift
Chance to win draw prizes
