The program is co-ed for adults 18 and over who want to learn how to play hockey. - Do I need to know how to skate?
No, the instructor is able to accommodate those of all skating levels and abilities. - How do I register?
Registration is done online through Discover Hockey or by calling 1-877-685-6245. - Where is it offered?

The program is for 12 weeks and includes 12 on-ice sessions and 2 classroom instructional sessions. All classroom instructional sessions will take place at Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre. The cost is $399 plus GST. - If I register, do I get to attend every class at all rinks?
No, each time and location is considered one program. You are not able to transfer between programs throughout a session. - Are there instructors, referees and timekeepers?
Yes, they are all included in the program. - Do I have to wear equipment?
Yes, you are required to wear full hockey equipment. A jersey is provided. - Is equipment provided?
No, you are required to provide your own equipment. - How do I know what equipment to purchase?

Yes, at the beginning orientation. - What is the buddy bonus program and how does it work?
The buddy bonus program entitles you to a $50/person savings when you register with 2 or more friends at once. In order to get the Buddy Bonus savings you MUST register online at Discover Hockey. - Does the program put me on a hockey team?
Yes, your program participants will become your hockey team. - What if I want to be a goalie?
Instruction is also provided on how to be a goalie. Only 2 goalies will be allowed per class. If you have questions about becoming a goalie, contact Candace from the NCHL at cpeace@nchl.com or 1-877-685-NCHL(6245) ext 3.
