Adult Drop-in Programs

Badminton

Be fast on your feet and bring your family and friends for some badminton play in our gymnasium. All ages and abilities welcome.

Bollyrobics

Inspired by the sounds of India with a fusion of classical and contemporary movements. Cardio, muscle toning, and stretching.

Boot Camp

Personalized whole - body workouts that are both challenging and fun! Prepare to be pushed!

Boot Camp : with Baby

Same great whole-body workouts as our Boot Camp, but with your stroller. Participants without a stroller are welcome. All children must remain in strollers.

CASE for the Heart

Low intensity exercises and physical activity for those with low to moderate physical fitness.

Circuit Training (CT)

Interval training combines a variety of cardio, free weight, and body weight exercises. For classes held within the fitness centre, resistance machines may also be used. Great for all fitness levels.

Core Express

Get to the core of the matter in 20 minutes. We will work you through a variety of abdominal and lower back exercises to improve your core strength, posture and balance.

HIIT Training / *Express

This high intensity interval training class will take you through a total body workout using a variety of different timed sets. Expect to get sweaty as your instructor takes you through a series of intense anaerobic exercises and lower intensity recovery intervals. This class offers modifications and levels to accommodate a range of fitness levels.

Joga

An athletic based style of yoga that focuses on a unique blend of postures to find balance in strength and flexibility, a variety of breathing techniques to improve control/recovery, and relaxation tools to maintain a calm mind in sport and life.

Living Fit

A variety of cardio and resistance
exercises specifically designed for the active older adult.

Open Court

Use for basketball, floor hockey, open training, badminton, table tennis or other court activities.

Open Fitness Centre

Users must be 16 years or older to use the fitness centre. Youth between the ages of 12-15 years are permitted to use the fitness centre only after having completed the Youth in Action program. Strollers are not permitted in the Fitness Centre.

Open FTC : Cardio

The Functional Training Centre is available exclusively at Kinsmen Sports Centre and features equipment specifically geared towards functional training exercises. Located in the fieldhouse, the Cardio area includes the space outside of the weightroom. All users must follow the same guidelines as within the Fitness Centre.

Open FTC : TRX

The Functional Training Centre is available exclusively at Kinsmen Sports Centre and features equipment specifically geared towards functional training exercises. Located in the fieldhouse, the TRX area includes the space with the TRX frame. All users must follow the same guidelines as within the Fitness Centre.

Open FTC : Weightroom

The Functional Training Centre is available exclusively at Kinsmen Sports Centre and features equipment specifically geared towards functional training exercises. The weightroom is located in the fieldhouse. All users must follow the same guidelines as within the Fitness Centre.

Open Gym

Basketball, volleyball, and badminton and more. Not intended for organized team practices.

Open Track

Walk or run at your own time and pace. Children under the age of 8 are not permitted on the track. Children between the ages of 8-15 are permitted on the track only if they are actively supervised by an adult, unless they have completed the Youth in Action program. Strollers are permitted on the track.

Open Turf

Bring the family down and participate in a variety of activities including soccer, football, baseball, frisbee, and rugby in our state of the art indoor field house.

Pickle Ball

Mini tennis game played by 2 to 4 people on a badminton-sized court using wooden paddles and a light baseball sized ball.

Pilates Core

Classic Pilates exercises done on the mats with emphasis on core strength & stretching. This class will help you get sculpted abs as well as improve your posture, spinal mobility, balance and flexibility. Pilates mats are not provided.

Pilates Core : Advanced

Classic Pilates exercises done on the mat while using a variety of props such as stability balls and rollers, with emphasis on core strength and stretching. Previous Pilates experience is recommended. Pilates mats are not provided.

Soccer

Practice your skills all year round. Kick a soccer ball around or join a friendly game on the indoor turf in our amazing field house. Drop-in adult (18+), child (8-12 years) and youth (13-17 years) soccer times are offered.

Spin

Enjoy a fun group cycling class that combines cardio training and muscle conditioning. Follow the instructor through exercise routines choreographed to music. Work at your own pace, no experience necessary.

Spin Blast

Rev up that metabolism with 30 minutes of heart pounding cardio and 30 minutes of strength training using TRX, weights, and other various fitness equipment. Get the best of both worlds. All levels welcome. Please note, your instructor might take you on a virtual ride.

Go for a bike ride at your own pace and enjoy the scenery on the screen along the way There will be no coaching for this workout.

Spin : Virtual Coach

This class will be led by a virtual instructor who will coach you through your cycling workout as you explore various destinations from the comfort of the Spin Studio.

Stair Climber Express

Work your whole body and boost your fitness through a variety of stair exercises from running to body weight exercises.

Step

Choreographed step. Includes invigorating cardio followed by resistance work and stretching.

Step : Pump

Combines step moves with resistance exercises for a full body workout.

Step : Power

Challenges the mind with creative choreography and intervals of high intensity extreme training moves. Resistance component included.

Strollercize

A high/low cardio and strength class that allows a parent to exercise while spending time with their children. All children must remain in strollers. In good weather, this class may go outside.

Tabata Interval Training

This is an intense interval class designed to substantially increase your fat burning potential. Class will be 25 minutes of Tabata, 10 minutes of core work and 10 minutes of stretching.

Tabata Interval Training : with Baby

Try out this high intensity interval training class that will get your heart racing and your muscles burning. Participants without a Stroller are welcome. All children must remain in strollers.

Total Body Barre

This class set to up-beat music combines movement from ballet, Pilates, and yoga while using the barre, light weights, and resistance bands.

Total Body Blast

A well-rounded workout that will increase your metabolism alternating between cardio drills and strength building exercises. All levels welcome.

Inflatable Playground

Let your kids bounce off the wall! Bring your kids to the Kinsmen Sports Centre and let them burn off some energy in the Jumpy Things Inflatable Playgrounds. Safe jumpy fun! Parental supervision is required at all times.

Preschool Wheels

Bring your preschoolers' bikes, trikes and ride-on toys down to the Kinsmen Field House for a morning of pedaling fun and adventure. Note that bikes will not be provided. Parents/guardians must supervise their children at all times. Please remember to bring your helmets/bike safety equipment.

Yoga (Age 6-12 yrs)

Fly like a bird, slither like a snake, or leap like a lion. Get your young one moving, stretching and active! This fun drop-in program will open new doors to health and relaxation for your child. Parents are welcome to participate.
