Clareview Multicultural Centre is an integral part of the Clareview Community Recreation Centre, infusing a feeling of vibrancy within the centre and making it a dynamic destination.
People of all ethnicities and backgrounds can:
- Connect and spend time with one another
- Learn from each other and share their skills
- Work together, set goals, and carry out activities essential to the operation of their groups and societies
- Transform ideas into outcomes that will enhance the vibrancy, diversity and intercultural cohesion of the City of Edmonton
Drop-in Spaces
Youth Lounge
The Youth Lounge is open daily for drop-in conversation, catching up on homework or connecting with friends.
Amenities include a kitchenette with microwave, board games and TV with cable services.
Seniors Lounge
The Seniors’ Lounge has comfortable furnishings and warmly welcomes friends and neighbours. It is open daily for drop-in use.
Amenities include a kitchenette with microwave, board games, multilingual reading material and TV with cable services.
Computer Resource Room
The Computer Resource room, open daily from 9am to 9:30pm, is a free drop-in zone.
Whether you have a resume to complete or need to prepare an agenda or minutes for your next community meeting, this room is equipped with desk-top computers, pay for service printing/photocopying/scanning, and wall ports to directly connect your own lap-top computer. Wifi is available.
Book A Space
The meeting rooms and social spaces within the Multicultural Centre are available to community groups/organizations to reserve for meetings, programs and workshops.
Call 780-508-9054 to reserve space or to arrange a tour of the facility.
Boardrooms
The centre has 2 boardrooms that offer groups a quiet, private, centralized location to come together.
Each has seating for 12 and is equipped with a SMART TV, Whiteboard and access to coffee/tea making facilities.
Flex Spaces (Youth & Seniors Lounges)
There are 2 flex spaces with adaptable furnishings, perfect for community conversations, workshops or programs.
One flex room can accommodate up to 20 and the other up to 12.
Office Work Stations
Office work stations are available to Edmonton-based not-for-profit newcomer/immigrant/refugee community groups and organizations who support settlement and integration activities within the community.
Each workstation is equipped with an ergonomic desk, phone and computer. Monthly rental fees apply.
