Bronze Medallion
This course teaches an understanding of the lifesaving principles included in the four components of water rescue education - judgment, knowledge, skill and fitness. Rescuers learn tows and carries, defense and release methods in preparation for challenging rescues of increased risk involving conscious and unconscious victims of various types. You will develop stroke efficiency and endurance in a times swim. This course also includes CPR A with AED results. The price includes the Canadian Lifesaving manual (handed out on the 1st lesson) and the exam fee. Manuals can be exempt from the price if you already have one but the exam fee is a required cost of the course and can not be removed. Pre-requisite is 13 years of age by the last day of the course or completion of a Bronze Star if they are not 13 years of age.
