ETS tracks performance of the transit system to provide valuable insights, support data-driven decision making and evaluate performance to drive continuous improvement. ETS is increasing transparency and access to consistent, reliable data through these reports.

Performance Metrics
The City of Edmonton is accountable to measure and report progress on results that matter to the public and City Council.
ETS tracks performance on various transit metrics to understand how we are doing and where we can improve. Monitoring progress enables data-driven decision-making and ensures goals and targets are being met.

Annual Service Plans
The ETS Annual Service Plan highlights the ambitious initiatives and service improvements that are underway. As a fully integrated public service, ETS serves a wide variety of riders from all areas of the city and is continually improving service.
New annual reports to be added in April each year.
Route Report Cards
Route report cards for each ETS’ route highlights boarding information, on-time performance and specific route frequency. These report cards are developed after each service adjustment that occurs 5 times a year in February, April, June, September and December.
Rider Research
ETS’ Rider Research Program collects data on perceptions and satisfaction of various transit service aspects as well as travel patterns and trip characteristics. The program captures insights from both riders and non-riders. Insights are then used to inform service enhancements.
Community Safety and Well-Being Dashboard
The CSWB dashboard is one part of the Community Safety and Well-Being Strategy and provides Edmontonians with updates on key City of Edmonton initiatives across seven pillars of action:
