Servus Edmonton Marathon
The 2026 Servus Edmonton marathon takes place Sunday, August 16.
Jasper Avenue between 95 Street and 116 Street will be fully closed from 6am until 4pm.
The following roads will also be closed from August 14 at 6:30pm until August 16 at 10pm:
- Jasper Avenue from 99 Street to 96 Street
- 97 Street from Jasper Avenue to 101A Avenue

Transit Impacts
Bus routes travelling into and through the downtown core will be detoured to accommodate the marathon and avoid Jasper Avenue.
- Between 5-10:30am: Route 101
- Between 5am- 3:30pm: Routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 110X, 511, 701, 900X, 901 and 902
- Routes 2, 5, 111 and 900X will have additional detours to accommodate setup and teardown for the marathon:
- Setup: August 14 at 6pm until August 16 at 4am
- Teardown: August 16 from 4-11pm
